Why can't I choose a particular date?
In short
Either that day falls inside the time we need to make what is in your basket, or it is a date blocked for a rest day or a holiday. When you tap a greyed-out day the calendar tells you why, and suggests a day earlier, never a day later.
The two reasons
Either the day falls inside the minimum making time for what is in your basket, or it is a date with no home delivery and no counter service.
Always backwards, never forwards
When a date is not possible, we propose the day before. Never the day after: your party is not going to be postponed, and a cake kept properly refrigerated holds that extra day perfectly well.
If your date will not move and it is not showing as available, write to us before giving it up for lost.
