Do the catalogue cakes look like the photograph?

Very close. The catalogue photographs are of our own cakes, real ones, made in this kitchen. They are not mock-ups or stock images.

That said, every cake is made by hand, and that means yours will carry small differences from the one in the picture: a petal that falls differently, a stroke that is its own. It is not a defect, it is the signature that somebody made it.

And a note on proportion: if you order the same design for more or fewer people, the piece changes size and the decoration adapts. We explain that when quoting so you know exactly what you are going to receive.
