What happens if I'm not there when the cake arrives?

This is the situation that causes the most trouble, so it is worth planning for. The driver rings the number you left on the order. If nobody answers and there is no one to receive it, the cake is not left with a neighbour or at the door.

A cake needs to go into a fridge as soon as possible, and a decorated piece abandoned in a corridor is a piece lost. So:

• Leave a phone that will be answered that day, not the office one.
• If somebody else is receiving it, write their name on the order.
• If it is a house with a gate or a building with a porter, say so. It saves valuable minutes.

If something changes on the day, message us with your order number as soon as you know and we will look for a solution while the cake is still on the road.
